Manuka Honey is unique among honeys. While all honeys are known to have some antibacterial properties, Manuka Honey, which is produced primarily in New Zealand from the nectar of Leptospermum scoparium and/or Leptospermum polyglaifolium, has additional antibacterial properties.

I've also put it on a cut, which healed twice as fast as an identical cut on which I did not put anything. Soon, I'm going to test it side-by-side against antibacterial cream.
